Do you feel that two days of “weekend time” is not enough to do what you want? Do you get to Monday and think gezz what happened to the weekend? Why do I feel I’ve accomplished nothing? Yep, I do too.
Trying be creative or think about creative “things” after hours is next to impossible. I don’t know about you, but after a work day I find it extremely difficult to turn around and start working on job number two. But Justin, that’s what you have to do if you want to get a head, that’s what the big entrepreneur’s do, they make the most of all available time.
Is it? Is it really? Do we really need to chase our tails like this? All that’s happening to me is that I’m getting run down, feeling tired and neglecting everyone. Bad for me, bad for family and bad for creativity. Not only this but it’s the old “candle both ends” even our parents told us about this one!
Obviously, this is the very situation I’m seeking to eradicate in the first place. We need to end this tail chasing business and we need free our mind so the creativity can flow.
So what does this leave us with? Adding in more hours to the day, nope there are only 24 that’s fixed you can thank the Egyptians for that. Not sleeping, no that will drive you insane first, and then kill you. Quitting and just being creative, yep love to but it won’t pay the bills.
To unlock our creativity, give us more time with family and friends and a generally feel good sensation we need to ultimately “find” additional time in our week. What we really need is to free up an additional “day” away from the office to free our minds before the weekend hits.
After all these years of service I think it’s about time our “days jobs” coughed up those 8 hours we need.
This is why we need a four day work week, obviously that leaves the how……..

I thought entrepreneurs worked like madman for a few years then hired enough staff to not have to really work anymore.
time management.. it killed me but I hit some of my ‘hobby’ goals but ridiculous determination and, weirdly, as work got more pressured I felt myself working on my hobby more (to a certain point anyway)..
but having said that, i know what u mean..
Hey Fellow_inmate,
I think they do, but by the time that part comes around the damage is done, they are already slaves and find it difficult to let go.
Mic – your right its all about time management, managing time to fit everything in.
