I always made the commitment that I would be totally transparent about the amount of money I make from my cubicle escape attempts.
Actually, I never thought I’d have to worry about reporting any revenue because let’s be honest, I never thought I’d earn any. Well,
Today I’m more excited than a Labrador with a pigs ear
and I’m very proud to present my very first passive income earnings statement.
Personally, this is big news for three reasons.
1 – I actually have something to report (discreet happy bum dance)
2 – The revenue is coming from two different sources
3 – It’s truly passive income (I wasn’t present when the sales were made)
The results
- Product Sales $63
- Google adwords $4.56
I can hear the laughter now, $70 is that all, I know it isn’t exactly going to make anyone rich! However the entire $70 was made on complete autopilot.
For example I made sales while I was sleeping, at work and out walking the dog.
Being aware that interest in my product is going to slow down over the Christmas holidays, the obvious challenge is now is to now upscale for next year and start another passive income business at the same time.
Now I know that, maybe, historically speaking, my posts have been filled with whining and general doom and gloom. Today I hope I’ve given you some glimmering hope that after all the pain of creating a passive income business, it will eventually reward you even if it’s only $70.
I’m off to think about the next mini project!
Hey, it’s tough out there!
